Meet Dr. Mark Hardwick, D.C.
Dr. Mark Hardwick was born and raised in Pierre S.D. He is the youngest of eight who all have made careers in the healthcare field.
His first experience with chiropractic started around the age of 8 years old when he began having 3-4 debilitating migraines per week. After many other forms of failed medical treatments, Dr. Hardwick’s parents took him to a Chiropractor, and it was only through chiropractic care that he gained complete relief from his migraine headaches. Since then, he has continued with ongoing chiropractic care to maintain his overall health and wellness. It was through this experience with chiropractic care that Dr. Hardwick’s interest in this form of healthcare began.
Upon graduating from high school, Dr. Mark attended the University of South Dakota, where he completed his undergraduate work majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology and Chemistry. He then moved to Minneapolis, MN, enrolling in chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Along with offering the latest and most effective chiropractic techniques, Dr. Hardwick has advanced specialty training in applied kinesiology, pregnancy, pediatric, and, specifically infancy care.
He is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), American Pregnancy Association (APA) and the Holistic Pediatric Alliance (HPA). Dr. Hardwick is also one of only a few chiropractors in the Sioux Falls area to be certified in the Webster Technique for pregnancy. Dr. Hardwick also focuses on Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition, Rehabilitation, and Wellness Care. It is through all of these highly effective techniques that Dr. Hardwick can provide the highest level of care for his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Hardwick likes to spend it with his lovely wife, Jessica, and their son’s, Ty and Elijah. He also enjoys hunting with his dog, Moose, traveling, working in his yard or any other outdoor activity he can find.
